TWB June 13th 2026 Experience: Day 8-Santa Monica, CA

Day 8: Santa Monica

Hey guys!! We're the Sleepy group... aka Piper, Henry, Lucas, Logan, Zac, Berkley, Willa, Walt, Harbor, Brooke, Carmen, Avery, and Loren!
Today we woke up, not too well rested, on the bus and vans coming from Las Vegas. We arrived at Santa Monica at around 5:30, but tried to get a little extra sleep by getting off at 6:30. Everyone got out and was able to change into our bathing suits, and then the challenge began: Song Remix!!! Bashful's sadly won the challenge, but we'll get them next time.

We got breakfast of donuts and apples before being able to explore the beach, and then the fun began. People split off as some enjoyed games of volleyball, a dip in the ocean, a stroll on the strip, or some soaking up of the sun.

A few were able to take advantage of the Apple Store and call some family - whoop whoop!
Kyle did pretty poorly in volleyball, is the word going around; maybe don't select him on your team.
After a long morning and afternoon, we left the beach around 2:00pm, many sunburnt and tired... Many attempted to get some extra sleep; however, a very alarming wakeup occurred of some songs for those in urgent need of a bathroom - Thanks, Dallas...
