This morning, we had the option to sleep in, yet no one did because of the humongous crows squawking in our ears and the sun rising at 5 am. We had our first sit-down breakfast, and for the "Hunger Games," we had a watermelon eating contest, which Miles won. We had delicious breakfast burritos made by the Grumpys with sausage, eggs, cheese, hash browns, and watermelon. Everyone got to take their time packing up this morning because we had a short drive to Vegas. If you saw us in the Grand Canyon in our dresses and khakis, no, you didn't.
After another stop at Walmart, we made it to Vegas. We walked 30 minutes in the heat of the day to Caesar's Palace. We then split off into our groups where we shopped, and many people tried In-N-Out for the first time. We got to see some beautiful buildings and gardens all around Vegas, such as The Bellagio right near Caesar's Palace. We got to FaceTime our family and friends for the first time in the Apple Store located in Caesar's Palace.
After meeting back up and taking another 30-minute walk in more tolerable weather, we got to go Bowling at Gold Coast. We spent two hours hanging out with friends and cooking it up in bowling.
