Day 10: Hollywood and UCLA
Selfie at the UCLA Campus
This morning, we woke up at a generous 7 am at the Canyon RV park. We hit the road not long after and headed to the Griffith Observatory. On the way to the observatory, we enjoyed a delicious meal of bagels with either cream cheese or peanut butter. We arrived at the observation center around 9:15 AM and enjoyed taking in the breathtaking view of the iconic Los Angeles, California. There, we decided to scheme our idea of planting a fake celebrity as a tourist trap -- aka we had to create a challenge to decide who our best screamers are...

Upon our arrival at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, we started to search for our favorite stars and look around the Grauman Chinese Theater. At the theater, we saw everyone's favorite celebrity, Will Hammond, who starred in Off Campus and Outer Banks! As both campers and bystanders swarmed him, he was signing things such as arms and phone cases while also being swarmed with pictures. While our Hollywood star was busy with the tourists, campers got to explore and take some cool pictures with the celebrity's hand/foot prints. We then broke into groups, while some of us chose Raising Cane's, others went to Ben & Jerry's! We all enjoyed some tasty treats after having bus roll-ups for the last few days...

We arrived at our campsite and unpacked the bus and vans, then we hung out with our friends. Some enjoyed the view of the lake, and others played volleyball, spike ball, and wiffle ball! For dinner, the Bashfuls prepared Caesar salad, chicken alfredo, and garlic bread. A lot of us were missing salad, so that was a nice surprise!
After dinner, we had a sing-along, and this is for sure the best we've sounded yet!
Once the sing-along was over, the Bashfuls had a nice surprise, and we got to have s'mores to end the night. Tomorrow we wake up and drive up the PCH to San Francisco. Until tomorrow! - Sleepys
